One and a half kilometers of medium-pressure gas pipeline in the Danilovsky district were successfully relocated from an active construction site. Specialists of the urban economy complex of Moscow created a new gas pipeline that will improve the supply for residents of the southern part of the capital and assist the development of the Danilovsky district.
In the challenging conditions of dense urban development, the microtunneling method was chosen. It allows laying the gas pipeline directly underground through several launching and receiving pits. Extensive trench digging will not be required. Only small sections use the open method of laying the gas pipeline.
The construction of engineering networks is carried out in three stages. The gas pipeline is characterized by high reliability and safety. Steel pipes are laid in protective reinforced concrete casings and strengthened with concrete. Modern high-quality domestic materials are used in the work.
The restructuring of gas networks is an important part of the work of JSC “Mosgaz.” Such projects develop urban infrastructure. Thus, after relocating the gas pipelines, builders can safely construct residential blocks or social and industrial facilities.
