The Museum of the History of the Russian Navy invites you to visit a real submarine — The 90-meter diesel-electric B-396 “Novosibirsk Komsomolets.” A unique exhibit that served in the waters of the Mediterranean and Barents Seas, the Arctic Ocean, and the Atlantic Ocean, it is located in the “Northern Tushino” park, on the bank of the Khimki Reservoir.

Visitors can walk through all compartments, see the armament, control and measuring instruments, control devices, the diver’s rescue diving suit, the commander’s cabin, and the crew’s sleeping quarters. Six torpedo tubes are preserved as exhibits on the submarine, as well as mine-torpedo weapons. Among the most unusual spaces is also Museum of Cosmonautics, located at the base of the monument “To the Conquerors of Space.” Its history is inextricably linked with the development of the Soviet and Russian space programs, starting from the launch of the first satellite. Interactive Museum of Historical Military Equipment “The army’s main weapon relics” (“G.O. R. A.”) has one of the largest collections of World War II military equipment and weapons in Russia. More than 400 rarities are displayed outdoors — from passenger cars to heavy tanks and fighters. Visitors can expect interactive exhibitions, reenacted battle scenes, recreated historical sets, and special effects.

At the “Military Highway” exhibition, guests will see two vintage cars from the Victory Museum’s collections. The “Opel Super 6” served the Wehrmacht officer staff. The car was found at battle sites in the Smolensk region, restored, and donated to the museum by a resident of Yaroslavl. The 1939 BMW was used by the Wehrmacht command staff. After the war, it was taken out of Germany.

A unique exhibition has opened at the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve “Falcon Yard”. Visitors can learn about the history of falconry, as well as find out how royal falconers served in the 17th century. The falconer’s room is recreated with high historical accuracy. The exhibition features a collection of equipment used in training birds of prey, and the main terms of this ancient craft are explained.

In addition, visitors can see the main inhabitants of the yard — saker falcons, a goshawk, a common buzzard, a raven, and the eagle owl Varya. Varya is the star of “Kolomenskoye” and a favorite among guests. She willingly poses for photos, and a picture with her becomes a great keepsake of a visit to the falconry yard.
