A new kindergarten “Aurora”, designed for 275 children, has been put into operation in the Molzhaninovsky district of the Northern Administrative Okrug. This was reported by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning Policy and Construction.

The property is located at: Leningradskoye Highway, building 228, structure 2 (part of the residential complex “1st Leningradsky”).

“A three-story kindergarten has been built in the northern part of the capital, designed for 11 groups, with a total area of almost 4.7 thousand square meters. A comprehensive developmental environment has been created here for children: comfortable group rooms, multifunctional halls for music and physical education classes, as well as a swimming pool and a room for developmental activities have been equipped. The building includes a medical block and a food unit with a full technological cycle. The kindergarten has become part of the city’s education system and has already welcomed its first pupils,” noted Vladimir Yefimov.

The kindergarten building blends harmoniously into the urban environment thanks to compositional and color solutions. It has a rectangular shape with protruding large sections of varying heights and a single entrance. A ventilated facade with porcelain stoneware cladding and hidden fasteners was used for the exterior finish. The outer walls are rendered in a natural and calm color scheme, enlivened by decorative colored slats and bright window slopes, giving the appearance a dynamic rhythm.

“Special attention was paid to the improvement of the kindergarten territory: for each age group, their own playgrounds were equipped with shaded canopies protecting from sun and rain, and shrubs were planted along the perimeter to create a cozy atmosphere. There is a sports ground. In addition, specialists installed safe playground equipment, outdoor lighting, and small architectural forms, as well as laid walking paths,” added the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the city’s Department of Urban Development Policy.
