Four new industrial facilities will appear in the South-Western Administrative Okrug (SWAO) of the capital. These will accommodate medical equipment manufacturing, a complex for deep processing of meat-and-bone raw materials, as well as an enterprise for the production of food equipment. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. Maxim Liksutov.

“By the order of Sergey Sobyanin, we are consistently developing industrial infrastructure through the mechanism large-scale investment projects. Modern enterprises are appearing in the districts, and the residents of the capital are gaining the opportunity to find jobs close to home. As part of this support program, four production sites are being established in the southwest of the city. After their opening, more than 600 new jobs will become available,” added Maxim Liksutov.

For example, a large-scale investment project (LSIP) by the company “S.P. Gelpik” has been implemented in the Zyuzino district. New factory Sergey Sobyanin opened it. This enterprise produces innovative medical equipment. The investor became the developer and manufacturer of the first open-type magnetic resonance imaging scanner in Russia based on a permanent magnet for examining limbs. In addition, the company supplies equipment for fluorography, mammography, tomography, and angiography to Moscow and regional medical institutions.

“Moscow consistently supports the creation of high-tech manufacturing within large-scale investment projects. One such Large Investment Project has already been implemented in the South-Western Administrative Okrug, where a facility for the production of medical equipment has appeared. Once the project reaches full capacity, the enterprise will be able to produce up to 400 units of high-tech products annually,” noted the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

The city provides investors with land plots for implementing SME projects. This resource remains one of the key factors for launching new productions and developing industrial infrastructure.

Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the city’s Department of Urban Property Ekaterina Solovieva noted that large-scale investment projects remain an important tool of the capital’s industrial policy, allowing the launch of production facilities, the creation of new jobs, and the development of modern infrastructure. Two of the four facilities will be located in the Yuzhnoye Butovo district: here, a meat production enterprise and a feed manufacturing workshop, as well as a complex for the production of food equipment, will be built.

Currently, the construction of a production complex is ongoing on Bartenevskaya Street, where food equipment will be manufactured. The construction is overseen by Mosgosstroynadzor. Head of the agency Anton Slobodchikov added that the permitting documentation for a building with a total area of more than 10,000 square meters was issued in July of this year. The committee’s inspectors developed a control and supervisory program immediately after the developer submitted the corresponding notification. The first inspection visit is scheduled for the third quarter of the current year.
