Music festival in support of homeless animals
At the cultural and entertainment complex “Kremlin in Izmailovo” on September 19 and 20 from 12:00 to 19:00, the foundation “Givers of Hope” will hold a charity festival “Give a Paw, Friend.” More than 15 groups and solo artists will participate. Music of various styles — from rock and folk to jazz and chanson — will help draw the audience’s attention to the problem of homeless animals and assist NGOs in preparing for the cold season. Guests will meet volunteers and their charges from the “Pechatniki” shelter and others. Everyone can bring pet food — autumn and winter are ahead, and supplies are needed now. Visitors who make a donation will be able to take photos with the musicians. The program also includes a charity fair with souvenirs, a raffle and prize drawings, contests, dancing with dogs, workshops, and a lecture by specialists on music therapy — both for people and animals. “Kind Run” in support of elderly people
The “Give Food” Foundation invites runners on September 20 to Victory Park for the charity “Kind Run.” This year it is dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons, celebrated on October 1. Part of the funds raised will be directed to the foundation to help elderly people who have found themselves in difficult life situations. Participant registration is open at website. Adults are offered several distances to choose from: two, five, and ten kilometers. For children, there are races of 450 and 650 meters, as well as one kilometer. Participants from 60 cities have already registered for the run. The oldest among them is 78 years old.
Fluffy friends at the “Cats Who Love” festival
On September 20, the “Dogs Who Love” foundation will hold the “Cats Who Love” festival at the Mega Belaya Dacha shopping center. From 12:00 to 17:00, guests will have the opportunity to meet cats looking for a home. Volunteers will talk about the habits of each animal, answer questions, and help with the choice. Those interested can also support the foundation at the charity market and bring treats for the animals.
In addition, specialists will advise visitors on installing protective screens on windows — an important detail that is often considered only after the pet has moved in. Guests will be helped to understand the nuances of installing “anti-cat” screens.
The festival will also showcase the foundation’s merchandise: little houses, beds, blankets, and toys, as well as handmade jewelry — brooches, earrings, necklaces. Admission is free, but advance registration is required at website.
Run in support of stroke survivors
The Stroke Fighting Foundation “ORBI” will hold the “Together Against Stroke” run at VDNH on October 10. Participants can choose from three routes suitable for any fitness level: one, two and a half, and five kilometers. The funds raised will be directed towards providing legal and psychological assistance to people who have suffered a stroke and their families.
For people who have had the disease and want to complete the chosen distance as a sign of victory over the illness, participation is free. In 2025, the run helped the foundation raise more than 3.7 million rubles to fund a free stroke helpline. Registration is available at website.
