In the renovated blocks, there are places for sports, walking and relaxation, games and entertainment,” said Vladimir Goverdovsky, prefect of the Central Administrative District of Moscow.
Special attention was given to the modernization of the children’s playground, transforming it into a modern and safe play area. First, the outdated equipment was completely dismantled. Then, a seamless two-layer coating made of bright rubber crumb was laid in the play area. It is safe, highly durable, non-slip after rain, and allows moisture to pass through, remaining dry.
The play area was zoned taking into account the interests and needs of children of different ages. The center of the playground is a multifunctional developmental complex, including two towers with gable roofs, a metal slide, an inclined climbing wall with a rope for climbing, a vertical spiral staircase, and rope bridges. The structural elements were made from natural wood.
The specialists also installed swings. They are a sturdy wooden structure on stable supports, with classic hanging swings suspended on metal chains with a comfortable seat that provides a smooth and safe swinging trajectory. These swings will also be available for adult visitors to the playground.
In addition, they installed a seesaw and a spring rocker here. They will help the children develop their sense of balance and vestibular system.
For fans of active recreation, a new tennis table has been installed.
In the courtyard, the asphalt concrete pavement of the driveways and curbs was also completely replaced, lawns were partially renewed, and modern outdoor lighting poles, comfortable benches, and trash bins were installed.

Earlier, work on the comprehensive improvement of courtyard areas in the city center was completed in the Basmanny district at the address: Makarenko Street, building 2/21, structures 1, 2, 3. The playground base was completely renewed and a modern shock-absorbing rubber coating was installed. Despite the small area, a multifunctional two-level play town with two slides and climbing elements was placed here, a carousel was installed, and new garden and park furniture was added.
In Khamovniki, in Novokonyushenny Lane near houses 9 (building 1) and 11, a playground zone has appeared. Here, a complex in the form of a medieval castle was equipped with an open spiral slide and a closed spiral slide, stairs, and other climbing elements, swings, a carousel, a sandbox, and spring riders were installed.
In Zamoskvorechye, on Zatsepa Street near building 22, the planning solution was changed and the bases in the play and sports zones were updated. A play complex, swings, a carousel, a sandbox, a trampoline, and a drawing board were installed on the children’s playground, and in the sports area — eight exercise machines and two outdoor complexes.
In Ozerkovsky Lane near houses 7, 9, and 11, previously unused areas were combined and the public space was expanded. The layout was changed here, the number of parking spaces was increased, a sports ground, a running track, and a space for quiet relaxation were arranged. For children, a themed play complex, swings, a carousel, a rocker, a hammock were installed, a sandyard and an interactive drawing stand were made. The sports area includes several training complexes, pull-up bars, two-section monkey bars, parallel bars, functional training equipment, and other elements.
In the Krasnoselsky district, children’s playgrounds were renovated on Malaya Krasnoselskaya Street (house 10/3) and in the 6th Krasnoselsky lane (house 3). Here, they installed play complexes, swings, a balance beam, a rocking toy, a slide, and a sandbox.
