The total amount of private investments in the new enterprises will exceed 18 billion rubles. This was reported by the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the city’s Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov.
“Large-scale investment projects allow Moscow to consistently expand its industrial infrastructure and develop new high-tech productions in the city’s districts. In the NEAD (North-Eastern Administrative District), a number of projects are being implemented within this mechanism in the fields of medicine and pharmaceuticals, as well as light, chemical, and electronic industries. Here, production facilities for medicinal and cosmetic products, enterprises for the manufacture of orthopedic medical devices, and clothing manufacturing will appear. After the commissioning of the new industrial areas, more than 1,800 new jobs will be created in the northeast of the capital,” Anatoly Garbuzov said.
Large-scale investment projects are a key tool that allows attracting businesses to the creation of modern facilities that meet the needs of Muscovites, as well as the development of the capital’s infrastructure.
“To build six industrial facilities as part of MaIP, the city has allocated investors over 19 hectares of land in the North-Eastern District under preferential lease agreements — for one ruble per year. New productions will appear in five districts: Severnoye, Sviblovo, Ostankinsky, Otradnoye, and Yuzhny Medvedkovo. Within one of the projects, a large pharmaceutical enterprise is already under construction, for which a plot of 15.5 hectares has been provided. Upon completion of construction, it will ensure availability and timely presence in pharmacies and medical organizations of blood plasma-derived medicines produced in the capital,” she noted
Ekaterina Solovyova, Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Moscow Department of City Property.
Chairman of Mosgosstroynadzor Anton Slobodchikov added that control over the construction cycle of industrial facilities in the capital is carried out by specialists from Mosgosstroynadzor — from the preparatory stage to project acceptance. Currently, five production complexes with a total area of over 150 thousand square meters are under construction. In total, eight on-site inspections have already been conducted at the sites, during which the department’s inspectors assessed the compliance of the completed work and materials used with the project documentation requirements. This ensures the reliability and safety of the buildings after their commissioning.
One of the key productions being established in the northeast of the capital within the framework of the MaIP is the plant of the company “Pharmstandard.” After commissioning, the enterprise will create over one thousand jobs. The facility will serve as a key logistics center for the storage and further supply of pharmaceutical products coming from the production being developed on-site. special economic zone “Technopolis Moscow.”
