The nightmare that happens to the heroes, in our view, did not happen without reason; everything is for the sake of light, not darkness. Everything will be, everything still will be, and everything will be fine,” says the director of the play, Alina Gudareyeva.

Despite the well-known ending, the chess game unfolds before the audience’s eyes. Anna’s main tragedy lies in the impossibility of uniting romantic love and maternal love. Her heart is torn apart. Living through this story over and over is very painful. And at the same time, it is a great acting fortune!” — says Maria Volkova, who plays the role of Anna Karenina.
