In the Timiryazevsky district, projects for the major renovation of five apartment buildings constructed between the 1930s and 1990s have been approved. They are located on Dmitrovskoye Highway (building 33, block 4 and building 34, block 1), in Dmitrovsky Passage (building 4, block 4), on Linii Oktyabrskoy Zheleznoy Dorogi street (building 10a), and Astradamskaya street (building 6). This was reported by the Chairman of the Moscow City Committee for Pricing Policy in Construction and State Expertise of Projects (Moskomexpertiza), part of the Capital’s Urban Planning Policy and Construction Complex. “In all five houses scheduled for major repairs, they plan to carry out the reconstruction of engineering communications: sewage systems, hot and cold water supply, heating, waste disposal. After that, specialists will perform localized restorative repairs in residential and non-residential premises throughout the buildings,” said Ivan Shcherbakov.
An individual action plan has also been developed for each site. For example, at 34 Dmitrovskoye Highway, building 1, and 6 Astradamskaya Street, repairs will be carried out on roofs, basement premises, electrical switchboards, garbage rooms, and attics. Roof coverings will be replaced, roof superstructures repaired, and protective fences restored on the building roofs.
“The residential buildings under consideration in the Timiryazevsky district were constructed at different times and have differing structural and aesthetic features. For each object, specialists from the Moscow Capital Repair Fund develop a unique project for the work to be carried out, selecting the most modern materials and technologies,” added Pavel Ryabonenko, Deputy General Director of the Moscow Capital Repair Fund.
On Dmitrovskoye Highway, building 33, block 4, on Dmitrovsky Passage, building 4, block 4, and on Lines of the October Railway Street, building 10a, the facades, loggias, and entrance groups will be renovated. The facades and plinths will be cleaned from dirt and old paint layers, treated with biocidal agents, leveled, and repainted.
The screens and metal elements of the railings will be repaired on the loggias. On the unglazed loggias, the screed will be replaced and a new floor covering will be installed.
In the entrance groups, the surface of the sites will be renewed, the porch steps will be repaired, and the fences will be restored and painted.
In the nine-story building at 10a Line of the October Railway Street, the common areas will also be refurbished. The entrance hall walls and ceilings will be cleaned, the plaster layer will be repaired and repainted, and the walls on the first floor will be tiled with ceramic tiles. In addition, specialists will replace the flooring in the vestibules, lobbies, and on the stair landings, and will renovate the staircase.
