At the Moscow Youth Center “Planet KVN named after Alexander Vasilyevich Maslyakov,” the semifinal games of the KVN league will take place on September 21 and 26. Youth of Moscow“. 20 teams from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Vologda, Cheboksary, and Ivanovo will participate in the games. All teams passed the selection in the quarterfinals.
Some semifinalist teams joined the shift for humorists, comedians, and KVN participants at the summer camp “Youth of Moscow.” Under the guidance of professional mentors, they created humorous materials, developed acting skills and stage performance abilities to prepare for future games and contests.

Members of the “Oleny Guberta” team from the Republic of Belarus shared their impressions of the preparation.
“Preparation for the semifinal was productive, and it was all thanks to the summer camp. It included master classes, our mentors helped us improve in the theory of authorship skills and stage movement practice. We did a lot of valuable work in a playful and friendly atmosphere. The highlight of the camp was the cup, where we managed to earn the status of the most stylish team,” the guys said.
The semifinal participants will have to compete in four contests — “Greeting,” “Warm-up,” “Difficult Situation,” and “Homework.” In these, they need to showcase all their talents — from the ability to introduce the team and its style of humor to mastery of improvisation and the capability to create a coherent story that will be interesting to follow.
The performances will be evaluated by an experienced jury, which will include representatives from the Higher League and Premier League of the KVN International Union, as well as the contest partners. Based on the results, the winners of each game will advance to the final of the KVN league “Youth of Moscow,” where they will compete for the championship title.
The KVN League “Youth of Moscow” is held with the support of the “Youth of Moscow” project of the capital city Committee on Public Relations and Youth Policy cities.
