On August 30, a festival will be held at the Metallurg Stadium on the territory of the N. E. Bauman Moscow State Technical University (site No. 4) “Beach Volleyball: Season Cup”. It will become part of the philosophy of healthy longevity. According to this concept, the city is developing an accessible sports environment, opportunities for an active lifestyle and socialization that will help Muscovites maintain health and mental clarity at any age. The festival is organized by the capital’s Department of Sports within the framework of the project “Summer in Moscow”.
The main part of the event is an amateur three-on-three tournament among 16 men’s and 16 women’s teams. Adults aged 18–55 (women) and 18–59 (men) are invited to participate.
The round of 16 and quarterfinal matches will be played in a single game to 21 points. The semifinals, third-place games, and finals will be played to two victories: the first two games are played to 21 points, and the third, if the score is 1:1, is played to 15 points. Teams with the best results will receive cups, medals, and commemorative prizes.
In addition to the beach volleyball tournament, the festival will feature other sports activities. Guests can look forward to workouts from the “My Sports District” project in fitrok, zumba, yoga, and stretching, as well as sports games: giant Jenga, cornhole, pétanque, and floor golf. Additionally, a relaxation area will be arranged for visitors.
As noted by Anna Kosenkova, the chief physician of City Polyclinic No. 220, such sporting events help turn physical activity into a regular part of the daily routine and support the principles of healthy longevity.

At the same time, sports events in the format of a festival have special significance: they help to exercise in the company of like-minded people, enjoy the process, and find additional motivation to continue training,” she emphasized.
