The architectural concept of an educational complex for 1050 places on Amurskaya Street has been approved. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for urban planning policy and construction. Vladimir Efimov.
“The educational complex will become part of a developing residential quarter in the Golyanovo district in the east of the capital. The building, with a total area of nearly 20,500 square meters, will combine three functional blocks: a kindergarten, an elementary school, and a secondary school. The complex is designed for 700 schoolchildren and 350 preschoolers. It will be located on a plot of over 2.3 hectares. After construction is completed, the facility will be transferred to the city’s education system,” explained Vladimir Efimov.
The exterior appearance of the building is maintained in a color scheme that references the shades of patinated and satin-finished copper — this is how the architects played on Golyanovo’s industrial history. The composition of the facades becomes more complex from block to block — from laconic planes to more detailed ones.
“The preschool block will have 14 group cells, a separate room for developmental activities, a gym and a music hall. For the pupils, a sports ground and 14 walking areas with shaded canopies with sandboxes, slides, play modules, and developmental elements will also be created. In the school block, there will be universal and specialized classrooms, a cooking and home economics room, a workshop for woodworking and metalworking. Additionally, a multifunctional space for events is provided inside,” added the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Moscow Department of Urban Planning Policy.
A large number of windows will provide natural lighting for the interior spaces of the educational complex. The ends of the building will feature thematic murals dedicated to various hobbies — from active games to creative activities.
The adjacent area will be comprehensively landscaped — fir, thuja, maple, willow, and lilac trees and shrubs will be planted. For children, a sports area with a running track and a long jump sector will be equipped, and chess and table tennis tables will also be installed.
Earlier, Sergey Sobyanin said that a building was constructed on Bazovskaya Street in the Zapadnoye Degunino district kindergarten for 150 places.
The construction of social facilities in Moscow aligns with the goals and initiatives of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.
