The capital is launching the eighth grant competition “Moscow — a kind city” for socially oriented non-profit organizations (NPOs). This was announced by Sergey Sobyanin on his channel on in the “Max” messenger.
“
Non-profit organizations — reliable partners of the capital in caring for Muscovites. We continue to support important NGO initiatives that complement the large-scale system of state assistance with individual solutions and unique services. Over the years of the competition, 738 projects have already received funding totaling 2.8 billion rubles,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

Applications are accepted in six areas. These include initiatives to support adults and children with health conditions, families and teenagers in difficult life situations, participants of the special military operation (SMO) and their family members, and the promotion of social volunteering.
Grants can be obtained even by young organizations with at least six months of experience. Founders with the status of SVO veteran can apply regardless of the NGO’s registration date.
The innovation of this year’s competition is the integration of an AI assistant for the experts. It will take over all the routine work — analyzing and structuring data. Thanks to this, specialists will be able to focus on the substantive aspects of the projects and their alignment with social demand.
