The Chairman of the Government familiarized himself with the work of the dispensary, inspected the departments and laboratories, and also spoke with representatives of the volunteer movement “Anticancer: support for survivors.”
The Yakut Republican Oncological Dispensary is the only healthcare institution in the region providing specialized medical care, including high-tech care, in the field of “oncology” for the adult population.
The new dispensary building was constructed as part of the regional project “Fighting Cancer” of the national project “Healthcare.” Construction of the facility began in 2017. The opening took place on February 2, 2024, via videoconference with the participation of the President of Russia.
A modern oncology center meets the highest medical standards. The total area of the dispensary is about 26 thousand square meters. It includes an inpatient facility with 235 beds and a clinic with a capacity of 210 visits per day. Medical care is provided using over 1,880 units of expert-class equipment. Since its opening, more than 147 thousand visits have been made, during which 4,949 cases of malignant neoplasms were detected.
The dispensary provides a full cycle of specialized and high-tech oncological care, from prevention, early diagnosis, and morphological verification to surgical, drug, radiation treatment, and follow-up observation.
