Xiamen, July 30 /Xinhua/ — On Wednesday in Xiamen (Fujian Province, East China), the “BRICS Global Express” platform was launched to help Chinese enterprises enter foreign markets, intended to create an effective bridge for cooperation connecting Chinese enterprises with the markets of BRICS and “BRICS Plus” countries.
Focusing on the markets of BRICS countries and “BRICS Plus,” “BRICS Global Express” operates on a regular basis with a dedicated session for each country. As part of this initiative, thematic sessions are held covering briefings on foreign policy, presentations by professional service providers, sharing of experiences on entering foreign markets, and matching supply and demand to ensure win-win results for bilateral trade and economic cooperation and continuous improvement in the level and quality of services.
“We will coordinate work with official resources, including foreign embassies and consulates of BRICS countries in China, overseas investment promotion agencies, and chambers of commerce. We will invite foreign delegations for in-person negotiations at the BRICS Countries Industrial Cooperation and Comprehensive Service Center for Accessing Overseas Markets, thereby creating an official channel of interaction for Chinese enterprises going global,” said Ke Haitao, Deputy Director of the BRICS Partnership Innovation Center for the New Industrial Revolution /BRICS Innovation Center/.
During the event, the BRICS Innovation Center and the respective company signed an agreement on jointly providing professional services for entering foreign markets. Both parties will conduct deep cooperation in the areas of information exchange, business matchmaking, and investment services.
