An excursion was organized at the “Smart Labor” Training Ground of SPbGASU for students and professors of Anhui University of Science and Technology (China).

The program was conducted in English, which allowed the guests to directly acquaint themselves with the university’s educational opportunities and modern approaches to training engineers in the field of occupational safety.

The event was opened by the dean of the Faculty of Construction, head of the Department of Technosphere Safety at SPbGASU Andrey Nikulin, who spoke about the university’s history, its educational programs, and international activities.

Director of the “Smart Labor” Polygon Alexander Dmitriev presented the concept of the training ground and conducted a tour of the training zones. The guests became acquainted with practical modules on occupational safety, industrial and fire safety, and also learned about modern technologies used in the training of future engineers.

The program concluded with a practical part: participants were able to undergo training in VR simulators, as well as try out industrial exoskeletons, assessing how modern technologies help reduce physical strain and increase labor safety.

Holding such events in English promotes the development of international cooperation, academic mobility, and the exchange of best educational practices between universities of different countries.
