A large-scale career guidance event – KAMAZ Day – was held at the Saulyk health and educational complex.
The automotive giant annually holds “KAMAZ Days” for children vacationing at the OOK “Saulyk”. The main organizer is the KAMAZ Corporate University, supported by employees of the company’s divisions and its subsidiaries. This year, the event took place at two camps simultaneously – “Sunny” and “Krylaty”. More than 1,100 children participated in the program. A bright celebration was organized for them, introducing KAMAZ in a playful format. For example, a quest was held by the automotive giant. To ensure every child was interested, separate routes were developed for younger, middle, and older groups. The children tested their speed and dexterity at the “Bolts” station, where they had to wind as many nuts as possible within a limited time. Fans of intellectual tasks eagerly assembled trucks from puzzles and searched for matching cards depicting modern machinery in the “Memory” game. At the “Cipher” station, young minds deciphered a message from the automotive giant’s technologists.
The games that required hearing and understanding your teammate tested the team spirit. The sports relay was dynamic, where children quickly put on personal protective equipment. A special route was prepared for the little ones: in the creative zones, they were met with puzzles, Kamaz machinery coloring pages, and the creation of branded bookmarks. At the “Find the Differences” station, the kids got acquainted with the manufacturing processes.
The event partner was the Children’s Technopark “Quantorium,” which organized as many as six master classes for the older kids. The children got to experience the technologies of the future: they learned to model with 3D pens, competed in neuro-arm wrestling, controlled a robotic hand, and constructed solar panels. They also got acquainted with the mechanism of a gearbox and made badges with Kamaz symbols themselves using a press. With the help of a VR headset, they embarked on an exciting journey through the automotive giant. “Guys, using the virtual reality helmet, immerse themselves in a simulation – they get acquainted with the history and modern life of ‘KAMAZ.’ Children like this way of presenting information.”, – he said Mentor of the “Quantorium” technopark Alexander Malevich.
Children also had the opportunity to see the KAMAZ-54901 highway tractor unit in person. At the end of the event, all participants received souvenirs from “KAMAZ.” Special gifts awaited those who excelled at the stations, as well as the winners of the photo contest.
