Beijing, July 22 /Xinhua/ — The Russian Export Center (REC) will hold a festival-fair under the national brand “Made in Russia” in Tianjin from August 15 to 19, 2026. The festival will take place on the famous central street Jingjie, known as the “Golden Street.” This was stated in a press release provided by the REC to the Xinhua news agency.

Since the festival will take place in August, the main theme of the festival-fair will be the embodiment of the Russian summer lifestyle – the dacha. For every Russian, a dacha is not just a “second home” or simply a countryside house with a plot of land, but a special way of life: a place to rest from the city bustle, mandatory spring plantings, and summer barbecues. It is this very dacha atmosphere that will await guests at the “Made in Russia” festival-fair.

Along the street there will be dozens of Russian manufacturers: of agricultural products, cosmetics, consumer goods, and jewelry. Visitors to the festival-fair in Tianjin will be able to taste and purchase Russian food products, beverages, dietary supplements, as well as see jewelry, souvenirs, and much more.

“Over two years, more than 500 Russian companies participated in the festival-fairs, about two thousand business meetings were held, and export contracts totaling over 15 billion rubles were signed. Moreover, the range of Russian goods at the festivals has significantly expanded. While the initial events primarily covered food products, now they consistently feature consumer goods, folk arts and crafts products, and many other categories,” stated REC Vice President Tatyana An.

The festival will be accompanied by a rich cultural program: performances by folk ensembles, national music, and dances will create a festive atmosphere and turn the event into a significant cultural event in Tianjin.

It should be recalled that over the past few years, REC has organized seven “Made in Russia” festival-fairs in China. The first of them took place in 2024, on the eve of the Chinese New Year, in Shenyang and Dalian (Liaoning Province, Northeast China), the second – in Harbin (Heilongjiang Province, Northeast China) in May, the third – in Chengdu (Sichuan Province, Southwest China) in November. In 2025, festivals were held in Shenyang, Harbin, and Beijing. In 2026, the festival-fair was held in Harbin alongside the China-Russia EXPO.
