The team of the Youth Council of the Deputy General Director of PJSC KAMAZ – Director for Development (BZGD-DR) Block became the winner of the city-wide Spartakiad among working youth based on the results of 2025. Kamaz athletes shared how they achieved the title of the best in Naberezhnye Chelny.
Let us recall, the award ceremony took place during Youth Day on the main stage of the Maidan in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. At the beginning of July, the team of the Youth Council of BZGD-DR PJSC “KAMAZ” lifted the main trophy – the cup for winning the city Spartakiad among working youth based on the results of 2025. For the guys, this cup is much more than just an award for the total points scored. It is proof of the correct choice of the youth policy vector, a set direction that they confidently adhered to throughout the year. Celebrating the well-deserved victory, the KAMAZ team recalled what this journey was like.
The 2025 sports marathon kicked off in January with a bowling tournament. Sixty-four teams from various enterprises and organizations of Avtograd gathered on the lanes. The Scientific and Technical Center of PJSC KAMAZ fielded three teams that demonstrated not only excellent gameplay but also team cohesion, setting a high standard for the entire year.
Spring brought new challenges. In April, an exciting laser tag tournament took place. The format was serious: teams were divided into five groups of five squads, and a mandatory condition was the participation of a girl in the team. The youth of the Development Block reached the final round, where in a fierce battle among the top five they won second place.
In the same month, accuracy and team spirit were required at the crossbow shooting tournament. The athletes of BZGD-DR honorably represented the enterprise.
May brought a unique competition called “Auto Pentathlon,” perfectly combining automotive themes and sports. The scoring consisted of three stages: “Vehicle Presentation,” “Speed Maneuvering,” and “Traffic Rules Knowledge.” The Kamaz team performed excellently in knowledge of rules and maneuvering, winning silver medals.
The real test of endurance was the military-sports gathering of working youth in early June. The program was intense: an obstacle course, militarized camp, assembly and disassembly of rifles, shooting, water slalom, and creative contests “Business Card” and “Military Song.” This required not only physical superiority but also creativity and team spirit. In the results of all trials, the Development Block yielded only to the competitors from the Foundry Plant of PJSC KAMAZ, taking silver.
At the end of June, Tukaya Embankment turned into an arena for beach volleyball. Fourteen men’s and eleven women’s teams competed for the title of the best. The BZGD-DR teams showed excellent play, stopping literally just steps away from the tournament’s final games.
August at the beach club “SunDale” brought stand-up paddleboarding competitions. Despite all obstacles before the finish, the duo of Development Block athletes (Anastasia Belyaeva and Evgeny Verkin) broke into the top three! They won silver medals among 28 teams from Naberezhnye Chelny, conceding only to the stand-up paddleboarders from the Nizhnekamsk HPP. It is also worth noting the second tandem from the KAMAZ Scientific and Technical Center, which also completed the distance with a respectable result, closing the top five.
In October, the athletes met on the football field. In an exciting mini-football tournament, the team from the KAMAZ Automobile Plant was the only one able to surpass the representatives of the Research and Technology Center, and ultimately became the champion. The high level of training of the KAMAZ team was evident.
The final highlight of the sports year was the December table tennis tournament, which brought together 15 teams from the city. Based on the match results, the silver medal in the team competition once again went to BZGD-DR. And in the individual championship, the silver medal was also won by an athlete from this division – Rustam Mindinov.
Looking back on this year-long marathon, the winners of the 2025 city Spartakiad note: behind every medal, every appearance on the field, track, or shooting range, there is enormous effort from the athletes, support from the Trade Union organization of BZGD-DR PJSC “KAMAZ” represented by chairman Ilya Kazachkov, and the faith of the participants.
