A batch of high-tech KAMAZ-54901 trucks has been delivered to the transport company “KENTAVR”. The decision to update the fleet was made by the partner after test-driving the vehicles in real working conditions.
Over the course of a year, the company progressed from getting acquainted with the new product to adding flagship vehicles to its fleet. The interest of the transport and logistics company “KENTAVR” in the K5 generation flagship – the KAMAZ-54901 tractor – was not accidental. The model, equipped with an economical inline engine with a power of 483 hp and a 12-speed automated manual transmission, had already proven itself in the industry. In June 2025, as part of a test program, the tractor was handed over to the company for operation under real conditions on trunk routes to assess its reliability, fuel efficiency, and suitability for business tasks. Following extensive testing, the vehicle confirmed the declared specifications, demonstrating high fuel economy performance.
Having verified the advantages of the model, in December the management of “TEK KENTAVR” visited the production facilities of the automotive giant in Naberezhnye Chelny. The company delegation visited the Automobile Plant and the Scientific and Technical Center of PJSC “KAMAZ.” The guests saw the main assembly line and the process of assembling cabins for K5 tractors, as well as got acquainted with promising developments. After the trip, a decision was made to undertake a large-scale fleet upgrade and purchase a batch of high-tech KAMAZ-54901 tractors.
A year after the start of the test drive, in June 2026, the company “TEK CENTAUR” received the first batch of serial KAMAZ-54901 tractor trucks. The equipment was acquired to strengthen logistics potential and improve the efficiency of cargo transportation. The delivery was made with financial support from JSC “KAMAZ Leasing Company.”
