Moscow, June 26 /Xin Hua/ — The United States cannot be considered absolutely neutral in the Ukrainian conflict. This was stated on Friday at a briefing by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov.
“If we talk about the absolute neutrality of the USA, then, of course, probably, the term ‘absolute neutrality’ is inapplicable,” he indicated.
“Taking into account the influence of the United States on European countries and on Ukraine, Russia values the United States’ readiness to help with the Ukrainian settlement, as so far there have been no statements from Washington about readiness to refuse it,” D. Peskov said.
According to him, Russia is opening up to provide intermediary services for Ukrainian settlement, including the USA.
