Beijing, June 24 /Xin Hua/ — Two Japanese citizens were detained by competent Chinese authorities for violating Chinese laws, confirmed on Wednesday the official representative of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Go Xuqun, at a regular press conference in response to the corresponding question.
China informed the Japanese side about this case, it added.
Go Zsyakun emphasized that the Japanese side should remind its citizens and enterprises located in China of the necessity to observe the laws and regulations of the PRC.
