A new project in the field of waste recycling and soil improvement was discussed by scientists from GUE and the branch of the Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center VIM in Saint Petersburg.
The GUU delegation included the head of the Department of Coordination of Scientific Research (UKNI), senior lecturer of the Department of Logistics and Transport and Technological Systems Maksim Pletnyov, Deputy Director of the Center for Space Research, Unmanned and Radioelectronic Technologies Dmitry Nikitin, and Deputy Head of UKNI, Associate Professor of the Department of Logistics and Transport and Technological Systems Aleksey Akulov.
Researchers met with the director of the Institute of Agroengineering and Ecological Problems of Agricultural Production – a branch of the Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center VIM (IAEP), Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Bryukhanov and head of the innovation projects department Ekaterina Vorobyova.
The parties discussed the current interaction between the parties within the project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. Special attention was paid to the importance of processing livestock by-products, technologies for the correct processing of organic products in the complex for the processing of waste, and the possible method of means to support and restore the quality of soil in agricultural territories.
Representatives of IAE proposed that GUU join the work on technology aimed at processing waste and the separation and further introduction into the soil for its qualitative improvement, including the joint solution of scientific and engineering tasks.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed on the development of cooperation within the framework of a joint scientific project on current topics.
