Beijing, June 10 /Xinhua/ — On Tuesday, at the Russian Cultural Center (RCC) in Beijing, a mobile presentation of Russian education was launched, during which the event participants got acquainted with leading universities of Russia.

As part of the event, representatives of 15 Russian universities conducted presentations, explaining the specifics of the educational programs and areas of training of their institutions.

“A traveling presentation is a unique opportunity for our educational organizations to introduce themselves, share best practices, and establish strong horizontal connections,” said Tatyana Urzhumtseva, head of the RKC in Beijing.

In 2026-2027, the Cross Years of Education between China and Russia will take place. According to T. Urzhumtseva, educational exchanges between Russia and China have deep historical roots, and the high level of relations between the two countries implies an increasingly close integration of their educational systems.

At the event, it was announced that from June 9 to 18, the RCC in Beijing, together with these Russian universities, will conduct an educational tour in Beijing, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, as well as in the provinces of Shaanxi, Henan, and Sichuan.

As part of the tour, in-depth negotiations will be held with local Chinese educational institutions on issues such as mutual visits and joint training of specialists, etc. Additionally, meetings will be organized between representatives of Russian universities and Chinese teachers, applicants, students, and parents.
