Beijing, June 9 /Xinhua/ — The Ministry of Finance of the PRC announced on Tuesday that on June 16 a third tranche of government bonds denominated in Chinese yuan will be placed in the Special Administrative Region /SAR/ of Xianggang this year.

The volume of bonds will amount to 15 billion yuan (about 2.2 billion USD), the agency added.

Specific agreements on the issuance will be published on the website of the Central Monetary Market Division under the Financial Management of Xiang’an, the department announced. -0-
