Residents of the capital actively participate in the development of the mobile application“Moscow Public Services”. In addition to solving everyday tasks with its help, users provide feedback. VDepartment of Information Technologies of MoscowIt was noted that the comments left are taken into account by developers when improving the functionality of the services.
“In order for the residents of the capital to find it even more comfortable to use the mobile application ‘Gosuslugi Moscow’, we constantly develop its functionality taking into account the suggestions received from citizens in the form of feedback. Thanks to this, it becomes more convenient and modern, and new features help residents solve their everyday tasks even faster. Since the beginning of the year, more than 123 thousand users have been able to evaluate the application and leave comments. Moreover, 85 percent of them evaluate the application positively,” the department’s press service said.
To rate the application and share your opinion, you need to log into it, go to the user’s profile, and then in the “Other” section select the item “Application rating.” Next, you should click “Like” or “Dislike.” If you choose the second option, you need to fill out the form “Your opinion is important to us,” where you can describe your wishes or comments in detail.
Feedback from Muscovites helps developers make access to city services and services even more convenient. Thus, in 2025, the application was updated — it became more modern and functional. Citizens receivedadditional featuresfor paying bills, submitting meter readings, using the Moskvich card, and much more. This year, other features also appeared in the servicenew functions: the ability to save and resend payment receipts after paying bills, a simplified process for topping up the balance of the “Troika” card, as well as a more convenient interface for submitting meter readings.
For example, taking into account the suggestions of city residents, the “Input Meter Readings” service has been improved to make it more comfortable to submit meter readings. When entering the service, it is no longer necessary, as before, to first select the meter category, then go to the apartment and enter data, returning several times to the main page. It is enough to select the apartment from the list, and based on this address, the sections “Water Supply”, “Heating”, and “Electricity” are displayed on the screen. Also, taking into account feedback from residents, the developers have made it more convenient to top up the balance of the “Troika” card.If previously an additional re-authorization from the mos.ru portal application was required for this, now the “Troika Card Replenishment” service is directly available in the application’s service catalog. Re-authorization using Mos ID will only be required during the first payment. If the user regularly replenishes the travel card via the application, the re-authorization data is saved and will not be required the next time.
The mobile application “Gosuslugi Moscow” has been operating since 2012. During this time, it has been downloaded more than 12.2 million times. The most popular functions are payment of a single payment document and other bills, submission of readings for water, electricity, and heat meters, tracking the attendance and academic progress of a child at school, ordering a menu in the school cafeteria, registering a pet with a veterinarian, obtaining information about car evacuation, recharging the “Troyka” card, and much more. A convenient interface and well-thought-out functionality make the service in demand among city residents of different generations.More than half of active users are aged between 35 and 50 years, and the share of residents aged 50 and older is about 32 percent.
