Bishkek, June 1 /Xin Hua/ — On Monday, International Children’s Day was widely celebrated on Ala-Too Square in the center of Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, turning it into a large festive area under the open sky.
For young visitors, contests, sports competitions, drawing master classes, and decorative-applied arts workshops were organized. Play zones, interactive areas, and photo zones, where children could participate in various entertaining activities, were especially popular.
Representatives of government bodies, public organizations, and international institutions congratulated the children on the holiday, wishing them good health, a happy childhood, success in their studies, and the realization of their talents. The congratulations emphasized that caring for the younger generation remains one of the most important directions of the country’s state policy.
In Kyrgyzstan, Children’s Day is one of the most beloved family holidays. On this day, special attention is given to issues of education, health care, and social support for children. The holiday also reminds society of the necessity to create favorable conditions for the harmonious development of the younger generation.
