Washington, May 29 /Xinhua/ — U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday outlined the conditions for a deal with Iran, which, in particular, included the elimination of Iranian enriched nuclear materials, the opening of passage through the Strait of Hormuz without levying tariffs, and the removal of remaining sea mines.

“Iran must agree that it will never have nuclear weapons or a nuclear bomb. The Strait of Hormuz must be immediately opened for unhindered shipping in both directions without tariffs. All naval mines/bombs, if any, must be destroyed,” D. Trump wrote in his social media post.

The head of the White House said at the same time that “the naval blockade by the USA will now be lifted.”

In addition, D. Trump stated that the enriched uranium of Iran will be extracted by the United States in close cooperation and coordination with the Iranian authorities, as well as the International Atomic Energy Agency, and destroyed.

Regarding financial compensation for the war demanded by Iran, and the White House’s proposal on D. Trump’s investments, he noted that “no money exchange transactions will occur until further notice.”

The American leader also reported that on Friday he will meet with his National Security team at the White House to “make a final decision.” –0–
