Bishkek, May 29 /Xin Hua/ — On Thursday at the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Maldybaev, a show of national costumes took place.
The demonstration of traditional national costumes integrates such elements as history, culture, femininity, aesthetic concepts, and the national spirit of the Kyrgyz people.
During the show, viewers saw how national motifs harmoniously combine with modern lines, fabrics, and presentation. Special emphasis was placed on details: shape, texture, color schemes, and decorative elements that refer to the cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people.
Stylist-designer Nazira Begim noted in an interview with Sin Syu: “I dedicated my collection, my evening to traditional culture. I want the traditional culture of the Kyrgyz people’s costume to live forever.” –0–
