Entrepreneurship does not begin with business, but with an idea that someone decides to believe in. This was exactly the focus of “Entrepreneurship Week” at GUU, which brought together students, experts, and young entrepreneurs around the main question: how to turn an initiative into a real project.
During the week, students not only attended lectures but also analyzed real cases, discussed the development of their own projects, and sought answers to questions faced by every aspiring entrepreneur: where to find support, how to test an idea, and what helps a startup not to stop at the idea stage.
One of the central events was the round table “Development of entrepreneurial activity at the university.” Participants discussed how the university helps students develop entrepreneurial skills and launch their own projects even during their studies.
The coordinator of the “Startup as a Diploma” program, Kristina Alekseeva, spoke about the format in which the thesis becomes not a theoretical study, but a full-fledged entrepreneurial project. The winner of the “Startup as a Diploma” competition and ambassador of the program, Danila Yakovlev, shared his personal experience in creating and developing his own startup.
The practical part of the week continued with a creative session “Flight map from idea to startup launch.” Students worked on business ideas, analyzed trends, identified the target audience, and discussed how to turn a student project into a sought-after product.
The program of an interactive meeting with Elizaveta Meshcheryakova, a representative of RWB, has concluded. Participants talked about internships, practice, corporate culture, and opportunities for young specialists.
The “Entrepreneurship Week” at GUU has become a space for open dialogue, exchange of experience, and search for new opportunities. The university continues to support student initiatives and create an environment where ideas have a chance to develop.
