Tokyo, May 27 /Xinhua/ — The House of Councillors /the upper house of the parliament/ of Japan on Wednesday passed a bill to establish a National Intelligence Council.
This bill was adopted in connection with the desire of the Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi to centralize and strengthen the country’s intelligence capabilities.
