On the picturesque glade near the Grand Palace in the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve of the capital’s Department of Culture, the annual inclusive picnic will take place again on May 31. This is a family celebration of music, dance, vocals, sports, games, and fantasy, which always gathers more than 10 thousand guests and erases the boundaries between people with different abilities. Entrance is free.

The organizers were the charitable foundation “Art to Be Near”, the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, the All-Russian Society of Disabled People, and friendly non-profit organizations. Every year they gather together in honor of International Children’s Day to summarize the results of the foundations’ work, to award the most active participants of the inclusive community, and to delight the guests of the celebration with a bright concert program, as well as with master classes, sports games, and other activities accessible to everyone.

The centerpiece of the inclusive picnic will traditionally be the main stage, which will start operating at 12:00. Among the performers are Diana Gurtskaya, the collective “Mechta”, whose wards participated in the show “Golos. Deti” (The Voice Kids), and the vocal studio of Tatyana Gromova (a collective already loved by guests of the museum-reserve during Maslenitsa). Also on stage will be the ensembles “Kolorit” and “Guryevskie”, the pop studio “Serpantin”, and the group “Gorod Tantsa” (they are preparing fragments from musicals). The corporate volunteer puppet theater “Mobile Fairy Tale Theater” of the “MTS” company will present the play “Don’t Believe — Check”. The program will be hosted by Tatyana Solntseva.

In addition to the concert, guests can expect thematic tents and open spaces. A new feature of 2026 will be a parade of sports stations: in the glade by the big pine, everyone will be able to try their hand at mini-golf, cornhole (throwing bags at a target), scoring goals in inflatable goals, volleyball, frisbee, and lacrosse.

In the interactive tent, guests are awaited by dances, a sensory workshop, many other activities from 15 funds-participants and a picnic partner — the “We Help” project by X5 Group. Master classes will also be held in a two-story wooden pavilion reserved exclusively for creativity.

Picnic guests will be able to create funny toys with their own hands. For example, a dynamic paper hopping bunny in the origami technique with applique elements or a bright spinner made of colored triangles, beads, and straws. For drawing enthusiasts, there will be master classes on creating a floral meadow using cocktail straws and mysterious patterns in the monotype technique, where each print is unique.

Special attention is given to movement and body practices. There will be a light yoga sequence “Sun Salutation” with rhythmic background music, dance improvisation where participants learn to express themselves through movement, sound, and interaction in pairs. Additionally, everyone interested will be able to master circle dances and active games of the peoples of the world — from Chukchi to Greek, as well as the Russian quadrille.

We have prepared interactive lectures for thoughtful and curious people. One of them is dedicated to animal helpers: in a playful form, it tells about the unusual professions of animals — from rescue dogs to a squirrel that conquered internet fame by riding a water ski.

The program will also include the creation of birdhouses on sticks and hives made from egg cartons with bees made from pine cones, a master class on making candles and souvenirs from mosaics. Additionally, an inclusive art object will be installed where everyone can draw their face on a common panel. For the youngest guests, a soft play area will appear in a separate tent.

The organizing committee will award permanent and new partners — the most active participants of the inclusive community for the past year. In 2026, among the event partners are the charitable foundations “Svet” and “Best Friends,” the winner of the grant competition “Moscow — a kind city,” the resource center “Ordinary Business”,Center for Accompanied Living“Guryevsky”, the cultural center “Integration” named after N.A. Ostrovsky, the regional public organization of disabled people “Perspective” and early assistance centers.
