Seoul, May 26 /Xinhua/ — Two people died, and four others were injured as a result of the collapse of an overpass in the Republic of Korea. This was reported on Tuesday by the Renhap news agency.
Earlier, local media reported that fewer than six people were injured as a result of the incident. Information about other victims is being clarified.
A section of an overpass being demolished in the capital Seoul collapsed at about 14:32 local time.
According to an unnamed representative of the Seoul metropolitan government, one side of the overpass collapsed during rescue operations.
