On May 20, the final of the XIV season of the International Engineering Championship CASE-IN took place. It was held in Moscow at the Moscow Institute of Science and Technology (MIPT). The event was held with the support of the presidential platform “Russia – Land of Opportunities” and brought together 760 participants from Russia and 14 foreign countries. At the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, a bronze medal and victory in one of the special nominations were awarded.
Two teams participated in the SPBGASU final, presenting projects in the category “Architecture, Design, Construction, and Housing and Communal Services.”
The bronze medal of the championship for the case “Development of the concept of a multifunctional residential complex with an underground parking and integrated non-residential premises of the “Comfort” class” was won by the team “Six Seven”. The team includes –Daniel Oksanen, Kirill Besedin, Kirill Ivanov, Olga Gavrichenko, Anna YarullinaиPolina Orlova.In their project, the guys demonstrated a thorough elaboration of structural and engineering systems, high-quality design documentation, and well-thought-out layouts. Thanks to architectural visualization, the concept comes to life: volumetric models and panoramic views convey the atmosphere of the future space, emphasize the originality of the architectural solution, and help to feel the comfort that residents will receive. In the special nomination “Best Architectural Solution,” the “Synthesis” team won with the following composition:Sofia Fedotova, Aleksandr Katsyuba, Aleksandra Safiullina, Hibi Kaziev, Svetlana Serebrova, Egor ChernovskiyиFuad Melikov.This project was distinguished by a creative approach and emphasized a deep understanding of modern trends in urban planning.Participants presented the expert community with integrated solutions based on digital modeling, smart management systems, environmentally safe and modern materials, as well as automated production processes.

The CASE Championship is not just a competition, but a real platform for the development of professional competencies. Participants worked on production tasks, proposing innovative solutions in the fields of architecture, design, construction, and housing and communal services. Our students demonstrated not only a high level of theoretical training but also practical skills in solving complex engineering problems. Their projects received high evaluation from the professional community.
