On the stand of the city of Haixi at the 10th Russian-Chinese EXPO, a group of Russian dancers in bright national costumes performed fiery dances to rhythmic music, creating with their performance an “artistic bridge” between China and Russia.

An invitation to perform at EXPO was received by a well-known dance troupe from Blagoveshchensk — a city located on the opposite bank of the Amur River, across from Heihe. This dance troupe is deeply involved in Russian-Chinese cultural exchange and has repeatedly performed at events, exhibitions, and international cultural-tourism competitions.

“For me, it is a great honor to perform at the Russia-China EXPO and to show Russian culture to the Chinese audience; I deeply cherish this opportunity for international exchange,” shared dancer Sofia Rybachek. According to her, every dance is a dialogue of cultures, and every movement is an expression of friendship.

The 10th Russian-Chinese EXPO runs from May 17 to 21 in Harbin, bringing together more than 1500 Chinese and foreign companies from 46 countries and regions around the world. Authentic performances by Russian artists became a wonderful highlight of this event.
