GDP of Kyrgyzstan grew by 12.4 percent in the first four months of 2026

Bishkek, May 15 /Xin Hua/ — According to the results for January-April 2026, the volume of Kyrgyzstan’s gross domestic product amounted to 602.8 billion soms (about 6.9 billion US dollars) and increased by 12.4 percent compared to January-April 2025. The National Statistical Committee of the republic reported this on Friday.

At the same time, the share of the service sector in the total volume of GDP amounted to 50.3%, the manufacturing industries — 33.1%, net taxes on products — 16.6%.

The volume of Kyrgyzstan’s foreign and mutual trade in goods in January-March 2026 amounted to 3.3 billion dollars and decreased by 4 percent compared to January-March 2025. At the same time, export deliveries decreased by 13.5 percent, import receipts decreased by 2.3 percent, the report says. –0–
