Berlin, May 15 /Xin Hua/ — Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Friedrich Merz held a telephone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday, during which both sides agreed that “Iran must immediately come to the negotiating table.”
According to the statement by F. Mertz, published on the social network X, this phone conversation took place when D. Trump was returning from China.
Leaders of two countries also discussed the “peaceful settlement in Ukraine” and the upcoming NATO summit, added Chancellor F.G.
