Minsk, May 15 /Sinhua/ — President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa held a meeting in Minsk on Friday. The Zimbabwean leader arrived in Belarus on a short working visit. The corresponding information was published by the press service of the head of the Belarusian state on the same day.

The parties discussed issues of developing bilateral relations, implementing the road map for strategic cooperation and partnership for 2026-2030.

A. Lukashenko confirmed Belarus’s interest in implementing joint projects with Zimbabwe. Among the promising directions are the creation of logistics corridors, expansion of industrial cooperation. Humanitarian cooperation topics were also touched upon.
