The State University of Management has become one of the winners in the selection of higher education and scientific organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia for the provision of subsidies from the federal budget. The support is aimed at implementing additional educational programs in space, satellite, and engineering technologies.
As a result of the selection, two applications from GUU became the winners:
“Fundamentals of Small Spacecraft Design” — an additional educational program for advanced training in the field of space, satellite, and engineering technologies.
The program is aimed at training a personnel reserve for private and state space industries. Participants will study topics related to the New Space paradigm: rapid and cost-effective prototyping of small spacecraft, as well as working with large datasets for remote sensing of the Earth.
“System Engineering of Spacecraft” — an additional professional qualification enhancement program.
Its purpose is to develop new professional competencies in the field of systems engineering of spacecraft among the trainees within the framework of the federal project “Personnel for Space”.
Both programs are built on an integrated educational model. It includes not only the transfer of professional knowledge and practical skills, but also immersion of listeners into the current tasks of the rocket and space industry. Such an approach helps to train specialists capable of participating in solving strategic tasks related to strengthening technological sovereignty and Russia’s leadership in space.
The selection was carried out within the framework of the federal project “Personnel for Space” of the national project for ensuring technological leadership “Development of Space Activities of the Russian Federation for the Period up to 2030 and Prospects up to 2036.”
A total of 40 applications from educational organizations have been selected. Each of them will receive grant support in the amount of 7 million rubles for the implementation of additional educational programs in 2026.
