Minsk, May 13 /Sin Hua/ — On Tuesday in Minsk, the 31st International Medical Forum “Healthcare of Belarus” began its work. A large-scale event unites Belarusian and foreign experts in medicine and pharmacy, as well as manufacturers of medical equipment, representatives of medical education and science. The event includes an exhibition and a business program, within which seminars and conferences are planned.
As noted during the opening by the first deputy head of the Administration of the President of Belarus Vladimir Peretsov, all training seminars, lectures, meetings, and forum presentations are aimed at making citizens’ lives longer and of higher quality.
“At the Minsk International Exhibition Center, we have gathered 200 exhibitors, which is 20 more than last year, from eight countries,” V. Peretsov reported.
According to the Minister of Health of Belarus, Alexander Khodzhayev, innovative medical products are presented at the forum and a strategy for the development of the country’s healthcare will be defined. He also drew the attention of journalists to the export of medical services from Belarus in 2025.
“Last year, according to the Belarusian National Statistical Committee, the country was able to exceed the threshold of 50 million US dollars in medical services exports,” summarized A. Khodzhaev.
The 31st International Medical Forum “Healthcare of Belarus” will be held in Minsk from May 12 to 15.
