Taiyuan, May 13 /Xinhua/ — On Tuesday, China successfully launched a new group of satellites into their planned orbit, intended to provide commercial internet services.
The satellites were launched using a modified carrier rocket “Changzheng-6” / “Long March-6” at 19:59 on Tuesday Beijing time from the Taiyuan Cosmodrome in northern China. They form the “Qianfan” constellation to provide commercial internet services.
This flight became the 642nd for the Changzheng series carrier rockets. -0-
