Kyiv, May 12 /Sin̆ʹua/ — The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) announced suspicion against the former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine (OPU), Andriy Yermak. This was reported by the SAP press service late Tuesday night on Telegram.
The SAP noted that A. Yermak is incriminated with participation in an organized group involved in laundering 460 million hryvnias / 10.5 million US dollars / in the construction of elite housing near Kyiv.
The ex-head of the FSB, whose words are quoted by “Interfax-Ukraine”, refused to comment on the service of a notification to him about suspicion and denied having elite real estate.
At the same time, the advisor to the President of Ukraine, Sergey Litvin, called not to make final conclusions on this matter, as procedural actions have not yet been completed.
