Defense ministries of Belarus and Myanmar noted mutual interest in developing cooperation

Minsk, April 23 /Xin Hua/ — The Minister of Defense of Belarus, Viktor Khrenin, held talks on Thursday in Minsk with the head of the military delegation of Myanmar, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of that country, Zo Myo Tin. Corresponding information was published the same day by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, including its economic aspects.

“Your visit to Belarus not only confirms the mutual interest in cooperation, but will also significantly contribute to the implementation of the provisions of the cooperation roadmap for 2026-2028, signed in November 2025,” noted V. Khrenin.

In turn, Zo Myo Thin emphasized that the defense departments of the two countries have successfully reached points of contact, opening new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation. –0–
