Beijing, April 15 /Xin Hua/ — China is ready to strengthen the coordination of strategies and political cooperation together with Spain, continuously improve the business environment, and promote deeper cooperation between enterprises in the fields of scientific-technological innovation and production-sales chains. This was announced on Wednesday by the Minister of Commerce of the PRC, Wan Wentao.

As pointed out by Wan Wentao at the China-Spain conference on exchanges between innovative enterprises, the two countries can jointly implement more flagship projects in sectors such as automobiles powered by new energy sources, intelligent manufacturing, solar and wind energy, which will benefit enterprises and the peoples of both countries.

According to the Chinese minister, trade and economic relations between China and Spain are continuously developing, and the integration of production chains is deepening, which proves the high complementarity of the economies of the two countries and the stability of mutually beneficial cooperation.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez at the conference emphasized that bilateral relations are experiencing the best period in their history, characterizing it by deepened cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, green energy, industrial production, and technological innovation.

Spain calls on more Chinese companies to invest and conduct business in Spain, said P. Sanchez, expressing hope for strengthened strategic interaction between the business circles of the two countries.

More than 100 representatives of Chinese and Spanish businesses participated in the conference. The participants shared their cooperation experiences and discussed topics such as technological developments and investment cooperation.
