Beijing, July 7 /Xinhua/ — China firmly opposes Japan’s interference with the legitimate activities of Chinese research vessels and has made a serious representation to the Japanese side regarding this, said Mao Ning, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, on Tuesday.
At the daily press briefing, the diplomat once again emphasized that Diaoyu Dao and the surrounding islands are the inherent territory of China.
