M. Mishustin: Dear Denis Vladimirovich, I would first like to thank you for the great work that your team and colleagues from federal executive authorities have done in organizing the country’s largest industrial innovation exhibition “Innoprom.” I also know how many industrialists and entrepreneurs have come here to date, including from friendly countries. We are also expecting meetings with the prime ministers of the entire quartet, except Russia – I mean the Eurasian Economic Union. Undoubtedly, this is very important. And in general, Sverdlovsk Oblast is one of the country’s leaders in industrial development, in creating innovative productions such as the “Titanium Valley,” and many other projects that the governor’s team is working on as well.
I would like you to talk about industrialization, about what is currently happening in the industry.
D. Pasler: Thank you very much, dear Mikhail Vladimirovich. Thank you for coming; we are always glad to see you. And of course, your presence raises both the level and the status of the exhibition. Your attention to the region in terms of both industry and the development of social facilities—we feel that as well. And together with the Government, we are implementing many projects. I am mostly talking about metallurgy and the extractive sector. But nevertheless, despite such trends, there are quite a few areas today that also show growth. Agriculture is growing, as are the chemical industry, microelectronics, computer manufacturing, and optics. All these sectors are growing quite dynamically. The defense industry as well—you know well that there are many enterprises here. I want to say that we fulfill all our obligations; all defense industry enterprises are operational.
M. Mishustin: Thank you, Denis Vladimirovich. It is important here not to slow down the pace of work, to create new jobs, and to engage in the modernization of production. In this sense, the federal Government has implemented all the relevant tools on the instructions of the President. And I hope that all the plans will be fulfilled.
