PJSC KAMAZ is participating in the 16th International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM, which opened today, July 6, in Yekaterinburg. The company’s booth features the KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit running on compressed natural gas.
The main industrial exhibition of Russia is taking place at the IEC “Yekaterinburg-EXPO” and brings together representatives of industry, government bodies, industry associations, and the expert community from around the world. The business program of the event includes participation by KAMAZ CEO Sergey Kogogin, Deputy CEO for Sales and Service Anton Saraykin, CEO of JSC “Trade and Financial Company KAMAZ” Andrey Kozhevnikov, and KAMAZ Passenger Transport Director Ruslan Kozadaev. On the sidelines of INNOPROM, the company management will hold a series of working meetings and business negotiations with key and potential partners.
At the INNOPROM exhibition area, with a total area of 50,000 sq. m, leading industrial and technological enterprises are presenting their developments. KAMAZ is showcasing the K5 generation tractor unit, operating on compressed natural gas. The KAMAZ-54901 on CNG is a new addition to the company’s product portfolio: serial production of the model began in December 2025.
The vehicle fully complies with all ADR requirements (agreement on the international carriage of dangerous goods by road). It is equipped with a modern KAMAZ P6 gas engine with a power of 460 hp, which allows fuel savings of up to 30% without losing traction performance. The chassis carries 8 cylinders for compressed natural gas, each with a volume of 123 liters, designed for a range of up to 550 km and stable operation on long routes. Additionally, the tractor includes load control on the drive axle, which helps prevent overload fines and extends the service life of the components. Like other representatives of the latest K5 generation, the gas-powered KAMAZ-54901 is equipped with a comfortable cab 2500 mm wide with a flat floor and a wide range of options for driver convenience.
