Hohhot, July 5 /Xinhua/ — Two people died and four others were injured as a result of a collision of trucks and a subsequent explosion in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in northern China, local authorities reported.
The incident occurred on Sunday at 11:27 on section 331 of the national highway located in the Dong Ujimqin Qi / East Ujimqin Banner / of the Xilin Gol League. The explosion happened after the collision of two trucks, one of which was carrying ammonium nitrate in its cargo bed.
The injured were hospitalized. The causes of the accident are being clarified. -0-
