The Director of the Center for Engineering Project Management at GUU, Vladimir Filatov, shared the university’s experience in working with industrial partners and implementing large scientific projects.
More than 200 students and young scientists from various regions of Russia gathered to exchange experiences and learn at the qualified customer intensive school “Science of Orders.”
Among the main speakers at the meeting were Alexander Dobaev, a member of the Coordinating Council for Youth Affairs in Science and Education under the President of the Russian Federation; Zarina Lazarova, a representative of the Foundation for Assistance to Innovations; Vladimir Filatov, director of the Engineering Project Management Center at the State University of Management; and Diana Strateichuk, head of the Scientific Activity Department at SKGMI.
A representative of GUU demonstrated the university’s experience in implementing scientific projects and presented several successful cases of cooperation with industrial partners. Vladimir Filatov cited the preparation of design documentation and reverse engineering work for LLC “TMH Engineering” as an example, and introduced a major scientific project in the agro-industrial complex sector, within which a “digital village” platform was developed.
The scientist spoke about the key stages of design and production work for a product in the interests of an industrial customer, the role of the project manager, common mistakes at the planning stage, and features of interaction with customers.
During the intensive course, participants acquired practical skills in writing project proposals, tools for implementing their ideas, and learned about state support measures for scientific initiatives.
