Beijing, June 30 /Xinhua/ — Recently, a cargo truck loaded with goods under cross-border e-commerce left the international postal exchange hub in Dongguan city, Guangdong province (South China), passed through the Bakhtu checkpoint in Tacheng Prefecture of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (Northwest China), to export goods to the Russian city of Kazan. This marked the official opening of the cross-border e-commerce export corridor “Dongguan – Tacheng – Kazan”.
This was reported by the Chinese news agency “Zhongguo Xinwen She” on its website, citing information from Huangpu Customs.
The above-mentioned dispatched truck was loaded with more than 90 thousand cross-border e-commerce parcels, including a range of products such as remote control covers, stress-relief toys, car stickers, refrigerator magnets, and others.
The enterprises completed export customs procedures at the place of dispatch. The customs authorities affixed customs seals on the transit export goods, after which they were sent to the destination, where the customs at the destination carried out inspection and release of the cargo.
Recall that to ensure the successful launch of this corridor, Dongguan Customs held prior consultations with cross-border e-commerce enterprises and logistics companies, guiding them to apply the expedited customs regime “inspection first, then loading.”
